We are evaluating sites across the UK with the infrastructure a long products mill requires: grid power, water, rail access and a skilled workforce. Final evaluation is under way, and we look forward to announcing our site.

The next generation of UK steelmakers.

A modern electric steelworks brings together production experience, engineering, materials science and digital systems. We will train, retrain and keep those skills in the UK.

Experienced professionals

Melt shop and mill operations, metallurgy, electrical and mechanical engineering, automation, maintenance, quality and safety.

Apprentices and graduates

Our ambition is to offer apprenticeships, including degree apprenticeships, graduate schemes and routes for people retraining from other industries.

Education and training partners

Colleges, universities and training providers developing the skills a future mill will need.

Workforce plans are in development. Confirmed opportunities will be published as the project progresses. Career interest is not an application for an advertised vacancy.
