Route comparisons

Comparisons between steelmaking routes use the World Steel Association's published global averages, with their year and scope stated beside them. They describe routes, not our own product.

Our own figures

Our product figures will come only from Environmental Product Declarations to BS EN 15804+A2, covering product stage A1 to A3, with module D reported separately, independently verified and published before first delivery.

The steel passport

Each passport will carry the verified figure for that product, with the cast, origin, feedstock and certificates.

Building comparisons

Where we cite studies comparing steel and concrete buildings, we name each study, say who commissioned it, and show findings that point the other way.

Review

Every claim is reviewed at least every six months, and whenever the evidence changes.
